October craft classes

Here's the makes from October craft class. I had so much fun preparing this class. I had a request for a Santa Minion card and a halloween decoration, so this is what I came up with.
I decided to keep with the puch art theme and we made two more quick Christmas cards (as the halloween decoration took a while).

If anyone wants details of the products, punches etc please drop me an e-mail.

This is the halloween decoration.  Everyone had a go at using the scoreboard, which was a first for some. We used the glue gun to ensure nothing would fall apart after the decoration was played with by kids.

Here's a close up.
Can you spot that I used the owl punch, this is still my favorite punch.

Thanks for stopping by, dates now up for the classes to the end of the year.

I  am entering my halloween decoration into these challenges:
Crafty Calender - Halloween
Paper Creator's crafts - Die or punches
Left of center creative challenge - Halloween/orange/black
Stampin with the Dragon - circles

Minion Stampin Up Boxes

I am so proud of last nights/this afternoon crafty make I had to share it with you straight away. I'm so proud as I designed them myself, aren't they so cute.

I've used all stampin up things, lots of circle punches were invoved, even the smile was made using a circle punch.

They were simple to make if you have the SU die to make the favor box and all the punches.
If anyone would like more instructions let me know and I can try and help.

If you'd like to purchase any Stampin Up products please get in touch.

Craft class - Carterton

Morning, today I have the makes from my Carterton classes in August to share with you.
I had so much fun at this month classes, lots of crafting, chatting and chocolate biscuits.

You'll recognise the cascading card from my presious post as I taught that at both the Carterton and Messingham classes this month.

I had a request for a male card month, so I came up with this one using the new simply stars stamp set. I love this card as it's so bright and bold;

We used the flower shop stamp set for this card and used some of the new in colours, baked brown sugar and strawberry slush. We also used background papers from the new paper stacks.

We made a 3D box to co-ordinate with the cascading card, again we used a new stamp set, Happy day.

These are photos of the cascading card again. My ladies had a choice of colours, so we had a lovely mix of pink, blue and yellow cards. They are made the boxes to match.

To book on next months classes in Carterton on 5th and 12th September please get in touch.

Craft class makes - Messingham

Morning all, I had lots of fun last weekend at the last craft class in Messingham (Lincolnshire) that I run with my Mum. These are the cards that we made.

I decided to challenge the ladies a little this month with a cascading card. They looked a little daunted to start with but all did wonderful jobs. I also taught this card at my Carterton classes this month and it was a huge sucess as well.

We used the new flower shop stamp set and the co-ordinating punch which are available to buy as a bundle in the new annual catalogue.

These are the other two cards we made, I designed the star card (using simply stars stamp set) and my Mum the cute penguin one (using the penguin stamp from the zoo review set).

I hope you like our makes, we've not yet got a date for the next class in Messingham, but as soon as we know I'll add it to the blog.

Happy stamping,
Sharon x

owl card

Todays card I have to share is using my favourite SU punch, the owl punch. I made this for an owl crazy friend and gave her one of the sissor charms with the owl on I showed you yesterday as a little pressie.

I now have to go and set up my dining room table for my craft class tonight, once that's done I'm taking my kids strawberry picking, yummy, you can't beat fresh strawberrys.

Happy crafting,
Sharon x

Sissor Charms

The first is some charms I make using the soda tops from Stampin' Up. Unfortunately these are now retired, but I still thought I'd share.

The soda tops were flattened using the big shot and then decorated with glitter paper and different punched shapes. They are then coated with a layer of crystal effects. The took a day to dry, but worth it.

I can't take credit for the idea, I first saw them on Monica Gales blog.

Happy crafting,
Sharon

Cermanic hearts

I've been very quite for a while now, but I've not gone anywhere, just very busy.
I have been crafting still when I get the chance.

Today I'd like to show you some hearts I made by stamping onto ceramic hearts and adding some ribbon. Very simple to make, but very effective.

I also added some ink around the edges to finish it off.

Happy stamping,

Family picture

I made this picture for a friend, she had asked if I could make something with her surname on and depicting her family of four. It was her birthday the other week so I thought I should have a go at making it and this is the result. She was really pleased and it's already up on her wall.

It's made using the broadsheet stamp set (which is another set that retiring at the end of this month) and some SU leaf and flower dies.

Thanks for stopping by,
Sharon x

Craft class in Carterton - May

Morning all, today I want to share with you the cards from this months craft classes

We made four things as usual, the first was a tag.

Here's the matching card we made.

We then made a poppy themed card.

This final card was our technique card where we stamped onto tissue paper, screwed the paper up then glued it onto card to create a wrinkled effect.

Thanks for looking, dates are now up for the next craft class in Carterton and Messingham.

If you'd like more details of the products I've used please get in touch.
