Everything Eleanor Card

We've got my in-laws staying with me this week in the craft room so no crafting for me except running a craft class On Thursday evening . I'll be desperate to craft by then!!! I thought I'd show you a card I'd made a while ago for FB challenge, but I never blogged about it.

I used the everything eleanor stamp set and made an easel card. You can't tell from the photos very well, but there's embossing on the card and glitter as well, I've used rose red and crumb cake card stock and crumb cake seam binding ribbon all from Stampin up.

Thanks for looking, I hope to be back next week with some Christmas gifts and cards that I'm busy making for some craft fairs I'm doing.

StampinUp Birdhouse

Here's a another birdhouse that I made to order for a friends sister. I used all SU card and paper and the bird builder and tiny tag punch for the decoration. I've had a go at making a larger Christmas birdhouse, not quite happy with the proportions of it yet, but I'll put up a picture when I'm done.

Don't forget to let me know if anyone would like to join in next months craft classes in Carterton (Oxon) or Messingham (N. Lincs).

Also Stampin Up still have a fabuous offer  on for those who sign up, a free pack of paper every month for 6 months, there's more details about this in the promotions tab at the top.

Happy crafting.

80th Birthday Card

I was asked to make an 80th birthday card with 'sister' on it. The only thing I had to go on was that she likes flowers. This is what I came up with.

I just hope the lady likes pink and purple.

I've used the apothecary art stamp set and matching framelits dies and beautiful butterflies emboslit die.  The ds paper is berry blossoms paper and the cardstock used is rose red and wistera wonder.
If there's anything that you'd like to order or to book a place on my upcoming classes please get in touch.
Thanks for stopping by.

New craft classes in Scotter, North Lincolnshire

I wanted to tell you all about my lovely downline's new craft classes. Debbie is starting up craft classes from this Saturday. She's running 6 weeks of classes to be held in Scotter, North Lincolnshire, if you'd like to book a place or find out more details you can contact Debbie directly by e-mail: debbie@poplargrovefarm.co.uk.

Debbie kindly let me show you one of the cards she'll be teaching at her first class. I'm sure you'll agree that it's very pretty, I just love the colours and those cute penguin stamps from the Stampin Up polar party stamp set.

I'm sure the classes will be a big hit and wish Debbie lots of luck for Saturday, not that she'll need it.

Makes from Messighams craft class

Morning all, today I have cards to show you from this month class in Messingham. This is the class that I teach with my Mum at her home. We have a great bunch of ladies that come and always have a laugh. My downline also comes to the class and is taking the plunge on Saturday and holding her first class on Saturday in Scotter, N. Lincs. I'll post more details later this week.

So these are the cards that we made this month. The first is one I designed using Betsys bloom stamp set and papers that match.

These next two are the ones my Mum taught, she decided to go with a Christmas theme.
The first uses the scentsational stamp set and dies and festival of prints paper stack.

For the second card she used a retired roller for the background. Daubers were used to create the spotty layer topped off with a bauble from the tags till Christmas set which was punched out with the matching ornament punch. There's also some of the new cherry cobbler twine on the card and a non-SU sentiment.

Next month will be all Christmas projects and in December we'll be making the ornament on the front on the mini catalogue at the request of the ladies that come to the classes. For more details or to book a place please get in touch.

This months craft classes

Another month of classes are over, so I thought I'd show you what we made at my classes at home this month.

These first two cards I've showed on my blog before as part of the ILWS blog hop.
They are using papers and stamps from the Betsy's blooms range.

This is the halloween box we made using stamps from the mixed medley hostess stamp set. I've added some crystal effects on the web to give the effect of rain drops.

The final project was a Christmas card using the owl occasions stamp set from the autumn/winter SU catalogue. We've some of the new stitched ribbon and some paper from the festival of prints paper stack.

I'll show you our makes from yesterdays class in Messingham later this week.

Gingerbread man, scentsational season wallhanging

Look what my clever Mum made.
A Christmas wallhanging using the cute gingerbread man from the SU scentsational season set and matching dies.
She put bondaweb onto the back of plain fabric and stamped and cut out the gingerbread men. She then ironed them onto some backing fabric and some stitching and a few hours later this is what she made.

Very sweet, she said I could put it on my blog to show a different way that stamps can be used.

Owl Anniversary Card

Today I have a card to show you that I made a few weeks ago for my upline, Roz and her hubby,

I used the Owl occasions stamp set form the A/W mini catty

I used daubers and ink to create the background before stamping the cute little owls on. The hearts are punched from my Owl builder punch.
