Dancing Gingerbread Men

I've not had too much time to craft this week as I've started a new job and it was my youngests 5th birthday too. Anyway the job is going well and I have a very happy five year old who now wont go to sleep without his new toy bus next to his bed and his build a bear teddy in bed with him.

I did manage to squeeze in one crafty session though and had a play with the adorable gingerbread men from the sentsational season stamp set in the A/W (autumn/winter mini) catalogue and the matching holiday collection framelits.

They are so cute. I've used paper from the new paper pad from the A/W catty as well as some things that aren't out to buy until the new main catty comes out next month. Have you spotted them?
First of all the green card is gumball green which one of the fabulous new in-colours for 2012-2014. Secondary the merry christmas stamp (from Owl occasions stamp set) is die cut using the new bitty banners framlits.

I've another new product on my second card too, it's the amazing stitched ribbon in gumball green.

I hope you've enjoyed the little sneak peaks of the new products. When the new catty goes live on the 1st October I'm taking part in a blog hop of new products from both the A/W and 2012-13 catalogues so pop back to see more products.

If you'd like one of the new catalogues or to place an order please get in touch.

September Class Makes

My classes in Carterton, Oxfordshire are at an end for this month, here's the things that we made over the two classes.
Thanks to everyone that came and made them so enjoyable to teach.

Each class made 3 cards and a 3D item (picture frame or owl pillow box).
This is an embossed card we made using the just believe stamp set and a matching magnetic picture frame.

This next card was made using the simply soft hostess set which is about the retire at the end of the month. We made our own flowers using the round scallop punch, inking the edges, cutting down each petal end embossing on the reverse to give a raised effect on each petal.

At the second class we made my favorite male card using the open sea stamp set and lots of distressing

In both classses we made this cute Angry bird card using lots of SU punches and a sentiment from the retiring hostess happiest birthday wishes stamp set.

Finally, but not least we made owl pillow boxes that I've shown you before. This time we made them in red though.

Thanks for stoppping by, if you'd like to book a place on next months classes the details are in the classes tab at the top of the page.

SU Ornament Christmas Decoration

Evening all, I hope you've had a good week. I had a great night crafting last night making something for me. I loved the Christmas decoration on the front cover of the new Autumn/winter SU catalogue and after Mr UPS brought my lovely goodies to make the decoration I couldn't resist having a go.

It took a long time to stamp and die cut all the shapes out, but once that was done it was great fun to put together and see it taking shape. I even managed to impress my OH with the finished decoration.

I've used the new Gunball Green ink (in colour 2012-14) and Real Red ink, the Ornament Keepsakes stamps and matching holiday Ornament Framelit dies. I've also added some Cherry Cobbler Tulle, linen thread, SU glitter (a lot of it, around the edges of each shape, not too sure that's showed up well on the photos), there's also a brad in the center with a jewel.

Thanks for looking and have a great week.

It's here.....the new Autumn Winter Stampin Up Catalogue

Yippee the time has arrived for the lauch of the latest Mini catalogue. You may notice that it's not quite so little this time, it's doubled in size. That means loads of more goodies to tempt us with.
There's a link here to the new catalogue
Here's some beautiful projects that show off the new products.

I was able to play with the Festival of prints paper stack before it came out (126904 £6.25). I made a cute Christmas tree by adding loops of paper to a polystyrene ball.

Let's just say I got very gluey fingers!! I'm pleased with the end results and managed to peel the glue off my hands.

There's some fantastic new products, I can't wait to get my hands on some of the stamp sets and the very pretty snowflake die. If anyone would like a paper copy of the catty or to place an order please get in touch. Also have a look at the post below.
As we get new products we sadly have to say goodbye to others, the annual Stampin up retiring list is now out. Again please get in touch to order anything.
