Christmas Pillow Box and a Sneak Peak

I've managed to get back into my craftroom after our visitors have gone after spending the bank holiday with us. We had a great weekend, shame it goes too fast.

I have a simple project to share with you, who can spot the new products?

Did you spot them, the paper is part of a new paper stack from Stampin Up that is in the new mini catalogue that comes out on Saturday. More ticky to spot is the new colour of ink.
As demonstrators we are lucky that we get to play with new products before we can sell them to our customers. The ink is one of the new 2012-2014 incolour colours called Gunball green which will be in the next annual catalogue out in October.

I've also used the tags till Christmas and pillow box die.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Owl

Morning all, well today I've finished the challenge I set myself of blogging everyday for two weeks. Mission achieved. I don't expect I'll be posting everyday now as I'm back to work tomorrow. I've had a fabulous time off with my boys though and enjoyed my crafting in the evening withough giving work a second thought, two weeks just goes far too fast.

Here's my last project this week using my favorite and first ever Stampin' Up! punch, the Owl builder. This time I've made a Santa Owl.

Santa is on the front of a magnetic shopping list book that I originally bought from Sainsburys. I covered it in ds paper from Stampin' Up! and used a variety of other punches to mount the little owl on. I've also added a merry stamp (from Pennant parade stamp set).
Other punches that I used include: word window, modern label, decorative label, scallop circle, blossom punch and itty bitty punches.

Thanks for looking and I hope it wont be too long before I'm back with another project. Don't forget to get in touch to order any of the wonderful Stampin' Up! products from me or for details about classes.

Stampin Up Pendants

I've been enjoying trying something different with my bookmarks so I tried at making some jewlery and I have to say I'm pretty chuffed with the results.
These pendants started out life as B&Q washers and with a bit of TLC are now transformed. I added some Stampin Up ds paper over the top and sanded the edges. I then added some crystal effects over the top and after it had dried fully (which took overnight) I added some leather cord.

I've covered these with Twitterpatted paper from the current mini.

I've also had a go using the mocha morning papers, but they're still drying!!
I'll post photos later.

 Thanks for stopping by.

Punch art bookmarks

Todays post is some bookmarks. I made these last night whilst watching the closing Olympic cermony. What a fantastic cermony it was. I've loved every minute of the games and feel sad that they've come to an end. Our country should be so proud for putting on a games to remember. I'm just so glad that I got to be part of it and manged to see the hockey at the olympic park.
Back to the bookmarks........
these are so much fun to make and a great way to use us scraps, which I have loads and loads off. I used lots of  SU punches to make these and glued them to the big paperclips.

Sail Away.....

Afternoon all. Wow what a lovely day again. I'm having a fabulous day in the sun, the morning was spent at a friends house watching the kids having loads of fun in the paddling pool together and then this afternoon in our own garden again with the paddling pool out. The kids are still playing in it now whilst I'm sat at the table outside in the shade of our umbrella.

Anyway enough rambling, here's todays card. Before you see it though don't forget my special offer of 10% off everything in the mini catalogue ends tomorrow, I'll be placing the order in the evening. Thanks to everyone that's already placed an order with me.
Also if you spend £60 (before 10% discount) you can also get the Reason to smile stamp set for free in your choice of wood or clear mount.

I've used the SU Sail away stamp, ds paper stack, scallop border punch, crumb cake and marina mist ink to colour the boat in with blender pens and to ink the edges. The background paper is from a SU paper pack which I can't remember the name off, I think the sun has frazzled my brain!!

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Todays card is another punch art, this time it's a lion. I've used several Stampin up punches included the scallop circle, oval, owl punch, 1" circle, 3/4" circle and itty bitty punches. I can't take credit for the lion design as I found it on another blog here
I used stamps from the just believe stamp set and inks and markers in pumpkin pie and garden green. The cardstock is in chocolate chip and daffodil delights.

Thanks for looking.
Best start thinking what to make tomorrow now. I'm becoming rather addicted to this punch art.

Stamping onto acetate

Here's todays card. I'm doing well with my challenge so far, it's been fun trying out stamp sets that I've not used that much.

I tried another new technique today, I stamped the flower onto acetate, punched it out and heated it a little to get the acetate to bend slightly.
I used my roller stamp (petite petals) and a scroll stamp from the Everything Eleanor set. The flower (mixed bunch stamp set) and matching punch (Blossom punch)  are from the summer mini catalogue.
I've used my favouriate Stampin Up colour melon mambo and teamed it with black and white

Don't forget to get in touch if you want to take advantage of my current offer on the Summer Mini catalogue.

I'll be back tomorrow.

Giraffe Punch Art

Whilst blog hopping I found this super cute giraffe made just from punches. You can see the card I cased here. I decided to stamp leaves around the giraffe and add a sentiment for my card.

The sentiment and leaves are all from the Just Believe stamp set.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card for you.

Olympic Ring Celebration Card

Well I'm off to a good start with my two week challenge. This is card number 2.
Tomorrow I'm off to watch the Hockey at the Olymipic Stadium so for todays card I thought I'd make an Olympic ring card.
I plan to use this as part of a mini book all about our visit to the Olympics.

I used the 1" and 3/4" circle punches to make the rings and cut the yellow and green rings so I could link them all together.

The Open Sea triple time stamping card and my challenge

Evening all, I've been crafting this evening whilst watching the olympics, more medals, go team GB. Only a few more days until I go and watch the hockey.
I've set myself a challenge. I've now got two weeks off work to look after my two boys it's fantastic to be able to spend time with them with no school or work getting in the way. Anyway back to my challenge, as I should have a bit more crafting time for the next two weeks I aim to post a new card on my blog everyday for the next two weeks!!
So keep checking back and see if I manage it.

This is todays card using the triple time stamping technique I tried last week. This time I've used The Open Sea stamp set from the summer mini catalogue (see post about a special offer I have on at the moment for items in the mini). I've used crumb cake and chocolate chip ink, chocolate chip card stock, twine and a SU clip.

August Class in Messingham

My second class this month was held with my Mum in Messingham (N. Lincs). Here's the cards that our ladies made.

This was the first card we made using the open sea set in the current summer mini. We used Chocolate chip and soft suede ink and lots of distressing. We also used the tiny tag set, jewelry tag and twine.

For the second card we used the cute Elebration stamp, labels collection framelits die (in Summer mini catty), sentiment from Apothecary art stamp set (in Summer mini catty).
Can you guess what I used for the background?
It's bubble wrap, I inked up a sheet of bubblewrap and simply pressed in onto the blank turquoise card. It looks pretty effective.

This is the final card in the class that my Mum taught. It was using the Tea Shoppe stamp set (in Summer mini). We also used the boho blossoms punch, bird builder punch (for the leaves), tiny tag stamp set, jewelry tag punch, bakers twine (summer mini) and daffodil delight taffeta ribbon.

You'll see that a lot of the products we've used are from the mini catalogue. If would like to take advantage of my current offer of 10% off items from the summer mini calatogue (until August 11th) then please get in touch.

Thanks to my ladies for making the class so much fun, we had a good laugh, enjoyed eating chocolate (brought back from my visit to cadburys world the day before), biscuits and drinking tea as well as making the three gorgeous cards.

August Craft Class in Carterton - Going Green

I held my first craft class for August in Carterton on Thursday. Here are the projects we've made. If you would like to join in the class next week in Carterton when we'll be making the same projects there's still time to book a place. The class in on Thursday August 9th 7.00-9.30pm.

The first card we made is using the Reason to smile stamp set that I've already blogged about on 1st August (the blue flower card). This is the stamp set you can get free with an order of £60 during August or can purchase for August only (wood = £18.95, clear = £14.95). To place an order please get in touch.

This is the 3D project that we make. A cute little bag made using the framelits die, yellow dotty papers from the subtles paper stack, ribbon (that was free with orders over £45 during July), jewelry tag punch and tiny tag stamp set. The ribbon is made using whisper white cardstock and the scallop punch and distressed to make it look like a flower. I've added a brad for the center.

We made a boys card using the build a monster stamp set. This is such a cute set, I love it. We used the ribbon border punch and a sentiment from the happiest birthday hostess set.

Our fourth project was using the elebration stamp set. What an adorable elephant, I coloured her in using blender pens to add a bit of shading. We used the pennant builder punch and pennant parade stamp set, ribbon border punch, itty bitty punches, twine and the ds paper from nursery set stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the projects as much as my ladies at the class did.
